Main ContentChief CRNA changes leadership
Susan Needham, who has served as chief CRNA for the last three years and has been a CRNA at UMMC for the last 22 years, retired at the end of August. She has served the department well and is much loved by all of her colleagues.
On her last day, Susan commented, "My time at UMMC has been very rewarding and I have made many dear friends. I never realized how fast the years would go by or how strange I would feel on retirement day. I have truly enjoyed my time here, but the last 3 years have been especially rewarding. Thank you all for allowing me to serve as Chief CRNA. This job has been wonderful, and you have made it easy and enjoyable. I will miss you all and look forward to seeing you in the future."
Mr. Cheyne Robinson took over for Susan in the Chief CRNA role at the beginning of September. Cheyne has served in many different roles in the department, but this one no doubt will be the most important. When asked about his vision for the position he stated, "I plan to continue to grow the department not solely in numbers but in representation that comes from the respect and efficiency of my colleagues by building confidence, stimulating cross-table cooperation and supporting new ideas that inspire others to learn more, do more, and become more for our future. I truly believe that if everyone is involved everyone will benefit."
Please congratulate Cheyne on is new appointment and wish Susan a very happy retirement!!
